A friend of mine was recently involved in a fatal car accident in which her sweet 2 year old daughter's life was taken back to live with our Father in Heaven again. This tragedy hit very close to home for us as we have a 3 year old little sweetheart.
Her family is cronicaling her recovery as well as the details from the accident on their blog, Prayers for the Family. It is a touching story of how a family has grown closer together amidst tragedy.
There is a huge bake sale that is being held for my friend this Saturday, March 3rd from 10am till noon at their local LDS Church building (4080 W. 12600 S. Riverton, UT). If any of you are in the southern Salt Lake Valley on Saturday, please stop by and buy some delicious goodies and help out my friend.
I heard Kneaders will be donating $200 worth of baked goods along with their pastry chefs who will be bringing home baked goods as well! Schmidts Pastry Cottage will be donating a cheesecake and Rod Works will be donating something as well.
