The folks at Crock-Pot sent us one of these NFL Slow Cookers with our favorite team on it. My RecipeBoy insisted on the Patriots (his favorite team) since my Chargers are having such an embarrassing season! Isn’t it adorable? The logo is prominently displayed twice on the front. I cook a lot, and I love to cook. But some nights (those busy run-around kid-sport nights) I just can’t get it all together for a good dinner. That’s where a slow cooker comes in handy. It cooks dinner all day for me, and then we come home and dinner is ready. This Crock-Pot has a stone insert, so you can prep everything ahead of time, stick the insert in the fridge, and then pop it into the slow cooker and turn it on when you’re ready for it to start doing its thing. There are plenty of things I like to make in the crockpot like chili, pot roast, carnitas, soup and pulled pork for sandwiches. And I’ve been obsessively collecting recipes I’d like to make in my new slow cooker on my Slow Cooker Pinterest board! Football- watching game days are perfect for Crock-Potting too.
And then the name of the team is displayed on the back. I think this is such a fun idea for the crazed football fan in your life, and it’s an even better idea for those who love to host Super Bowl parties! As you can see, my RecipeBoy is quite enamored with our new Patriots-themed NFL Crock-Pot! Wouldn’t it make a fun holiday gift for the football fan- cook?
